How much do you charge?

What venues do you work at?
Great question! We have worked at many locations over the last 7+ years across Vancouver Island, and Vancouver. If we have not worked at your venue before, this is very exciting to us and we would love to add another name to our list! Please know that we are not limited to Vancouver island weddings or even Canada! We love to travel and would be thrilled to hear more about your wedding!
Do you work by yourself? Or do you have helpers?
At Shaping Memories, we have an amazing group of professional event coordinators! We love to make sure that our bases are covered at all times. We will review each event and decide the best option for our clients. Whether you have one or five coordinators at your event, it will still be amazing!!
Do you charge anything for a consultation?
We love to meet our potential clients and get to know them! Our consultations are free because we want you to feel like we have developed a perfect connection together!
What is a consultation for?
This is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another! We want you to feel like we are a great match for you, your guests, and your event! At our first meeting, we will talk about your wants and needs for your event, as well as what you have already completed in preparation for your special day. We love developing a personal connection with you and hearing about the details of your day! Allow us to show you our professionalism and our love towards what we do!
When should I reach out to book my planner?
We would love to hear from you anytime! We would suggest reaching out 6-12 months before your event day. However, our team is fully capable to jump in at any time to help you with your special day!
Which vendors do you normally work with?
Same deal as the venues we work with! We have worked with many vendors over the last 7+ years across Vancouver Island, and Vancouver. If we have not worked with your vendor before, this is very exciting to us and we would love to add another name to our list! We love creating the perfect team with your vendors for your special day! If you do need some suggestions on where to start looking, reach out to us and we can offer some suggestions for vendors!
My venue already has a venue coordinator. Is it common to have both?
This is wonderful news! We are happy to work with venue coordinators at your wedding! We like to combine our amazing skills so that your wedding is perfect! What makes us a perfect team is that we know your wedding inside and out and your venue coordinator knows their venue inside and out. It is common to have both a venue coordinator and an event coordinator!
